Our mission is to create employment opportunities for Veterans with barriers.
Presently all of the revenue generated beyond the operational expenses from the Veterans Greenhouse, Foxhole BBQ and Catering, and MAVERIC Driving Range are directly reinvested back into those enterprises.
In 2010,MTI started its consultancy with the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System’s (VANJ) Department of Homeless Services in Lyons, New Jersey. Our charge was to manage and operate three social enterprises that employed homeless Veterans. As the organization’s relationship with the VA matured, recovery oriented services financed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Services Administration (SAMSHA). The funding allowed MTI the opportunity to develop a peer-to-peer recovery oriented program that utilizes “employment” both transitional and competitive. The program’s goal is to help pervious homeless Veterans build the necessary skills to manage a life without substances.
We are proud to serve our country’s Veterans who are either chronically unemployed or underemployed. The Veterans Greenhouse, Foxhole BBQ and Catering, MAVERIC Driving Range, Foxhole Smokers and Jobs2Vets program are the key sites that provide all of our work restoration services.
