Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)

Government Solutions

  • Credentialed peer and non-peer staff who are experienced in the prevention of substance abuse and mental illness in service members, veterans and their families, and ethnic minorities who are experiencing health and behavioral health disparities
  • Offer recovery support by hiring and partnering with people in recovery from mental and substance use disorders and their family members to guide the behavioral health system in promoting individual, program and system-level approaches that foster:
    • Health and resilience
    • Increasing housing to support recovery
    • Reducing barriers to employment, education and other life goals
    • Securing social supports in their chosen communities
  • Promote workforce development by increasing the supply of trained and culturally aware preventionist, health care practitioners, paraprofessionals and peers to address the behavioral health needs of the nation.
  • Improve the behavioral health knowledge and skills of health care workers who are not considered to be behavioral health specialists

  • Our leadership team has over 20 years of experiencing managing contracts for mental health and substance abuse vocational rehabilitation programs, residential facilities, community housing services, Peer-to-Peer programs, and other individual and family services.
  • We distinguish ourselves from other vocational rehabilitation programs by utilizing a Peer-to-Peer recovery delivery service model that focuses on barriers to employment, community integration and job development/placement
  • We hire Peers who are actively receiving behavioral health treatment and/or are receiving social services for managerial and direct-practice positions
  • Our MAVERIC (Moving America’s Veterans into Employment and Residences in the Community) program has been recognized by the Joint Commission of Accreditation as a “best practice” program. We are also a member of the International Association of Peer Supporters (member #2031).
